RECENTLY, RIVERSIDE SCHOOL CHILDREN TOOK TURNS using mallets to play an instrument in music class. Students enjoyed learning about the different sounds that the soft and hard mallets make. Thanks to Annie’s family for letting her share her instrument!
I AM HAPPY TO REPORT THAT STUDENTS AND STAFF raised $499 in last Friday’s ‘Wacky Hair Day’ fundraiser. All told, we raised $1,320 for Children’s Hospital of Richmond thanks to the January, February, and March ‘Fun Friday’ Fundraisers! What an amazing display of the spirit of philanthropy at Riverside!
Fran Kay (pictured right ), a grandparent of two Riverside alumni and Chair of the school’s Advisory Council, who also serves on the volunteer board of the Children’s Hospital Foundation, said that she is so proud and grateful for our students’ generosity.
