Classroom Teacher
The Classroom Teacher works with a homeroom of 8-10 students with dyslexia. The successful candidate must be committed to differentiation to meet learning needs and will receive extensive training in the Orton-Gillingham (O-G) Approach to teaching children with dyslexia. Click here to learn more.
Math Teacher (Part-Time)
The Math Teacher works with a class of 6-10 students with dyslexia. The successful candidate must be committed to differentiation to meet learning needs and will receive training in the Orton-Gillingham (O-G) Approach to teaching children with dyslexia. Click here to learn more.
Librarian (Part-Time)
The school librarian teaches information literacy skills, and develops and maintains the collection of digital and printed materials. The position collaborates with faculty and administrators to provide materials that support the instructional curriculum. Click here to learn more.
LF Instructor (Part-Time)
The Language Fundamentals Instructor is responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering individualized instruction utilizing the principles of Orton Gillingham. This part-time position teaches at least 2 students, works Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
Applicants should have completed (or are in the process of completing) the 70 hour OGA Associate training course, and will be required to work towards membership with the Academy if membership is not already held. Riverside provides professional development opportunities and participation is expected.
A bachelor's degree in education or similar related field is preferred.
