On Tuesday, Feb. 19, author Gary Karton will speak to Riverside students about his spirit animal adventure series and his personal experience with dyslexia.

Gary has relied upon his extensive imagination to author interesting and engaging books called ‘The Last Akaway’ and ‘The Rock of Sarraka.’ His books are appropriate for a wide age range of children.

“I want kids to know three things,” Gary says. “First, that every kid has special powers. Secondly, that being different is good. And third, if I can do this, then anyone can do or become whatever they can imagine.”

Please note: Gary is offering a 20 percent discount on his books for Riverside students and their families. If you are interested in a signed copy, complete this form and return with payment to the front office (cash or check made out to ‘Sarraka Productions’). In order to have Gary deliver signed books to your kids on the day of his visit, please return the form to Riverside’s front office by Feb. 15.
