John Tuscan “Tuc” Baldecchi began showing signs of a learning disability at a very early age. After educational testing with a brilliant local psychologist and a complete battery of tests by the City of Richmond Schools it was determined at the age of six that he had dysgraphia, dyslexia and ADHD.

After working as the weekend sports anchor for WRICTV, 8NEWS here in Richmond for almost two years I am reminded of how fortunate I am to be in this position. Many years ago I was a student at Riverside, struggling to adjust to my dyslexia and ADD, a process that even to this day continues in each situation I face.
