BY ANY MEASURE, the 2018-19 academic year at Riverside has been a tremendous success on a variety of levels. The accomplishments and contributions of our students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, loved ones and others really are too numerous to mention.
It’s been a wonderful year in which the school has enjoyed terrific growth, including full enrollment.
This morning, Riverside conducted its ‘Moving-On’ ceremony where we recognized the 21 students who will be moving on to a public, private or specialty school in just a few months for the 2019-20 academic year. (Where did the time go?)
No matter where their paths lead, near- and long-term, I believe they will always be a part of the Riverside family. Additionally, my hope for all Riverside alumni is that when their time is finished at the school that ‘moving on’ signals not ‘goodbye,’ but ‘see you later.’
Our charge to our students is to stay in touch, keep us in mind, come visit, remember Riverside—and always do your best in all that you do!
Have a safe and enjoyable summer, everyone. The new school year at Riverside starts on Aug. 26.
